Seriously, IT is really happening! Today, January 30, 2018 is a great day for me. It'll be my last official day working for someone else. As a marketing consultant, I've worked for some of great companies and learned from some of the best however, all of my experience has led me to this final day, yay! I'm happily concluding the "Do Everything for Everybody Else" section of my book and starting my bossin up chapter! 

The other day, my current client asked if I would extend until Feb 6. I knew it was coming. Too much had happened on the team for it not to be asked. It is not personal, I simply have other things to do [or not do] beyond my consulting work and now is as good a time as any. I had already practiced various forms of "naw I'm good" so when it happened I did think about it, and every molecule of my being agreed to say "No, thank you!" 

Later that day I had a timely conversation with the hubby who said "the person who scores the most is the one who takes the most shots. If you never you shoot you will never know your score" [better yet have one]. Did you know that Kobe Bryant leads the pack with the highest field goal attempts aka number of shots taken during one game? I would have guessed MJ but upon further research it is Kobe. Definitely a lesson here! 

And to answer my own question, HELL YES, I'm sure and I'm taking all the shots.
